Tonto and the Lone Ranger were riding through a canyon together when all of a sudden both sides were filled with Native American warriors on horses, dressed for battle. The Lone Ranger turned to Tonto and asked, “What are we going to do?” Tonto replied, “What you mean ‘we,’ white man?”
I know that’s an old joke but it illustrates the world’s version of unity. The world is unified until it feels the need to not be unified. “I’m with ya brother…unless something happens I don’t like.” Well, the church has a different standard and at Christ Fellowship we are going to see what that standard is this Sunday as we continue our study on what kind of church we should be.
Ephesians chapter 4 gives us four descriptions of the unity of the church and they all start with us as individuals. So, if you, as an individual, aren’t there it already messes up our unity. I know it’s going to be cold but it will be warm inside physically and spiritually. I can’t wait to see you there, especially after this long, cold week! I love you all! — Todd
PS Don’t forget on February 8 we will have a potluck lunch and the men are asked to provide the desserts.
