Sometimes in a football game you might hear the referees say, “After further review…” and then they change their minds about a certain call. Well, after further review and with consultation after looking at what shoebox stuff we have left, Christ Fellowship has decided not to pack any more boxes this year for Operation Christmas Child. We have over 100 packed full with quality stuff and that’s a great number for a church our size. We will just save what we have left for next year. If you recently bought some stuff and want to go through what is left to pack a couple more, that’s fine. We won’t deliver them until the 16th.
Then this Sunday we will continue our November focus on biblical characters who were thankful with a look at Luke chapter one, a passage called the Magnificat. No, that’s not a superhero feline. That is the song that Mary sang in gratitude to God. When Mary was thankful…she worshiped! I can’t wait to see you this Sunday to do the same thing! I love you all! — Todd
