This Sunday it is D&G@CF! No, that’s not covering up a cuss word. It means it is David and Goliath at Christ Fellowship! It is my favorite story in all the Old Testament. You ought to read 1 Samuel 17 today and watch what happens. You won’t stop there. There are so many good stories about David and his mighty men and how they ran from Saul who was trying to kill him. But the first major story of David’s life is when he went up against the giant Goliath.
Then you may think that we are going to see how we, too, can slay our giants, right? But I want to look at this just a little bit differently and see what else God wants us to learn from this great story.
