There are several things that need our attention at Christ Fellowship. First, we have scheduled the CPR / first aid training class for September 25th. That is a Friday and the class will start at 6 pm and last 2-3 hours. In this class you can get certified for first aid for free! I think every member of our church ought to take advantage of this class whether you need the certification or not. I want everybody to be able to help if help is needed at our church but also at your home or job as well. The trainer needs a head count so please respond to this as soon as you can if you are interested. Again, it is absolutely free so why wouldn’t you?
Also, please don’t forget to bring your shoebox gifts to the church. Our packing party will be in November which is right around the corner and we have a long way to go. This Sunday we will welcome Stephen Forsythe with the Gideons who will speak to our church about how the Gideons have given away 2,739,737,326 Bibles so far!!! That’s a real number! I looked it up. Over 2.5 billion Bibles changing lives in countries all over the world. That is something I’m proud that our church supports.
