Are you going through a difficult time right now? If not, you will be pretty soon. It’s just how life is. And how God is. Why does God allow us to go through difficult times and why so difficult and why so often? Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to please God. So, part of the reason God allows us to go through difficult times is to prove our faith. Abraham is known as a man of faith because his faith was proven. Let’s talk more about that this coming Sunday at Christ Fellowship. Genesis 22 is one of my favorite stories in all scripture. I still have lots of questions about it but it proves Abraham could pass a test. Do you think you could pass it?
Also, tomorrow, Saturday the 27th, we will have a workday at the new building in Bridgeport. There will be a crew there to put on a new metal roof and we might can help with that. Also, we can do some cleaning inside and out. There is no electricity so we can’t vacuum but there are other things that need to be cleaned or thrown away. We should probably start pretty early since it looks like it will be hot.
