Well, it’s October and Fall is here so you know what that means! Pumpkin spiced sermons and our annual Christ Fellowship chili cook-off! Yay! Yes, this Sunday after the morning service, we will have our much-celebrated and universally-loved chili cook-off with the time-honored awards for “Best Tasting”, “Spiciest” and “Most Exotic.” Everybody gets to judge. If you don’t want to bring a pot of chili you might want to bring some cheese, sour cream, Fritos or maybe something to drink. But you don’t have to bring anything. Just stay and eat with us. There is always plenty. There will be no evening service.
As for the pumpkin spiced sermon, get ready for Isaiah chapter 6 where Isaiah sees a vision of God in all His majesty. How would you react? Let’s talk about it this Sunday morning at 10. I love you all! — Todd
